FIRE SAFETY TIPS FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON

Safety Tips for a safe Holiday Season

1. Live Christmas trees are a fire safety risk if not managed properly (note:  we don't allow them at our rental properties)
2. Make sure Christmas lights are turned off when going to sleep or leaving your home
3. Do not leave burning candles near a tree and do not leave candles burning when not at home
4. Do not plug power bars into another power bar. A power bar has to go directly into the wall outlet
5. Do not plug a space heater into a power bar. It must go directly into the wall outlet 
6. Never leave a fireplace on when not at home or asleep
7. Never leave something cooking on a stove or in an oven when not at home
